I think a new version of Godwin's Law has emerged this year: The amount of time a thread goes on is proportionate to the likelihood someone will say Planned Parenthood sells baby parts.
One example of many I've seen lately: I was on a neighborhood forum. One person expressed concern about a mosque being built. I asked, "What is your concern?" Literally, that was the only sentence I contributed to the thread.
Immediate nastiness was the reaction, and 5 posts later, Planned Parenthood sells baby parts. Which has everything to do with a mosque. Not.

He probably gets supportive messages in prison. Soon a marriage proposal.
As I pointed out, I never said they are or aren't.
I simply asked the OP for further information about her feelings.
Asking someone about their feelings, when they're in the midst of expressing them, is typically considered to be a nice thing to do (among normal people).
But let's not let that stop us from being hateful schoolyard bullies and talking about unrelated fake news stories.
