The soldier does not commit an actual sin unless he chooses to break a moral law while in the military…. Military service is morally neutral.
Your tax dollars helped paying for the military. remember that. You are murder too? Let's not go there. Enough anti military threads in this forum and all over the internet. you are nothing original. I heard it all.

People who join the military do so with full knowledge that they may be sent into war torn countries and may be maimed or killed as a result. Currently, this decision is completely voluntary. Wish all you want, but don't act like these people are unaware of the dangers of the military. Perhaps if they had a real CIC and not the feckless resident of the White House, there would be no reason to send our soldiers to fight ISIS.
If the soldier was a Vietnam vet, I would agree that being forced to fight a war by draft is wrong, but again, these brave soldiers are volunteering to fight, and NOTHING they do on behalf of this nation is "for no good reason."
This post is just more mumbling of excuses and worn out empty praise of American troops without looking at or understanding the entire picture.
Our military is not defending anyones freedoms in Iraq, Iran, Syria, Afghanistan. Babbling on and on about the evils of Islam is a meaningless defense of americas offensive and unlawful military actions.
Easy answer to that one. We don't want the ones that blew up you and your Muslim friend leaving their homes in the Middle East. We want the ones and those like them all dead along with their cult beliefs.
Until we can prove we are getting those with us and not against us we must ban immigration and travel to the civilized world by N. Koreans, Muslims or anyone else.

At least 25% and probably a lot more are radical Islamic terrorist types. That number is over 300 million and we can't risk having ANY of them here IMO.
Put a wall up and bullet proof the vetting and I would love USA Constitution loving Muslims that would not want Sharia here any time.

Yes, nominal Muslims who don't really practise the Quran are not problem precisely because they are bad Muslims.
Its not high-jacked. Crusader Christianity, in terms of violence, was flawed but not fundamentally flawed because the essential documents were in fact passive.
Islam and the Quran is flawed at the fundamental level, unless that is you believe in it.
The Quran is viewed as the words of the Prophet as dictated to scribes over time. The thousands of Hadiths written after Muhammeds death are words attributed to the Prophet by others. Islamic scholars have challenged the legitimacy and authenticity of some or all Hadiths all along. Some believe the Hadiths and interpretations have hijacked Islam.
The gospels are words attributed to Jesus by others. Translations, interpretations differ amongst denominations and sects within denominations and have been influenced by regional politicians. Some gospels are mainstream while others are not. Interpretations continuously evolve within Christianity as new denominations and sects are formed. Not too different than Islam or any other major religion.
Muhammed viewed the gospels as corrupt documents that replaced the original gospel with false and oftentimes politically influenced information.
I obviously have an arm chair interest in religion and tend to focus on the context of the times and evolution of religions over time.
