I don't see how a handful of ignorant people constitutes a "town" unless its population is 10?

now if he would have voiced the concern that "solar farms would suck up tax dollars" he'd have had a valid point.
That is ridicules but Con Artist have been involved with solar since day one. I bought a house with a passive hot water systems mounted on roof that had not functioned in years. The previous owner said it went south 10 years into its life on a 25 year, and of course the company went under before then guarantee.
Sounds like the Solar companies are back selling the same snake oil.
i agree that there are snake oil salesmen selling garbage solar systems, and i am not a big proponent of solar power to begin with as the systems are not as efficient as they need to be right now. but some of the fears in the article are just plain unfounded.
IMHO the only alternative energy technology (wind, solar heat, solar electricity, tidal, geothermal) suffering from greater ignorance and outright lies is Nuclear Power.

The Solar company should go 3 feet outside the town limits and build it there. It isn't like it is new technology.
