Exactly, they will try to ban abortion, same-sex marriage, marijuana (yet lessen regulations for cigarettes) meanwhile boosting military spending, domestic spying on Americans, and possibly banning an entire religion, which is completely against the constitution. It's about time they start being honest with each other. They don't want small government, they want the biggest, baddest, strongest government. They want to get involved with more world conflicts while cutting off communication with enemies, which jsut leaves war as the only option.. and all of it will be paid with a credit card. Balanced budget my ____!

When 1/3 of the party supports ideas such as banning an entire religion and potentially rounding up American citizens if they refuse to say they are not a Muslim, how on Earth can they continue saying "We are the party of small and limited government, freedom and liberty and strict followers of the constitution" ???
The only person who truly believes in small government, limited government and the constitution is Rand Paul, yet he is mocked by even by the right wing media, which truly shows what a joke the party is when they say they believe in these things.

The Dem party must have a lot of low information voters to believe what they feed you as the gospel truth.
When 72% of Americans say the FedGov is too big that means people in both parties feel that way.
We went from 55% in 2009 to 72% in 2013. Couldn't find anything more recent.
Neither will the Dems. That 72% surely includes Dems as well.
It's not in the best interest of the Fed to shrink.
It's in their best interest to expand and control more.
