At Thursday night’s concert at Blaine High School, one of the songs students will be singing includes Arabic words, including the phrase “Allahu Akbar,” which means “God is great.”

Allah is the Arabic word for God. Arab Christians refer to God as Allah.

Link says this choir sings Christian and Jewish songs, too.

Perhaps this choir teacher should avoid songs with reference to any particular religion.

Bet that major world culture knows nothing of US culture and doesn't care to learn. Ignorance steeped in lies marks the stone age ME cultures.

The only reason that major culture has come to the forefront is the death and destruction caused in its embrace. The social justice crowd thinks if we bend over backward they won't want to kill us while the peaceful majority sympathizes with the 'small minority'.

Why not?

Christians conscripted the pagan Winter Solstice celebrations to celebrate the birth of Jesus.

No one knows with certainty, the year, let alone month or date of Jesus' birth.

It happened.

There are not many investigative news these days. It is one sided and heavily biased.
Alex takes the medias "news" and investigates the truth, using many sources, including the Freedom of Information Act and other media.

Notice he always gives the sources so you yourself can go investigate it yourself.

Alex reports on the medias own news, they put out to the public. Fact checks it.

According to the link, only 4/ 52 Muslim majority countries ban all religion other than Islam. One in particular, Saudi Arabia, is a long time US ally.

Unfortunately, there are certain people radicalizing a lot of the immigrants or their children here in this country, recruiting them to ISIS. I imagine the clash of cultures for kids born here to Somalian refugees is difficult to navigate. It does seem that in Europe and here it is the children born of these refugees or immigrants that are more prone to radicalization.
Somalian refugee resettlement began in the mid 80's and peaked during the 90's during the Somalian Civil War. Lutheran Social Services and Catholic Chariities are conduits for government financial aid.

Actually, as it relates to resettlement of Somalians in Minnesota, Lutheran Social Services has been at the forefront. Both Lutheran Social Services and Catholic Charities are major conduits for distribution of state and federal financial aid.

Rather than using actual historical facts to judge, Obama is praised as the greatest President in history, to those who will it to be, based solely on ideology. I believe it therefore it is.

Many many educators are just as befuddled about how the institution is becoming so extreme, so dishonest in their totalitarian push to erase American history as they see fit. The problem is they could be out of a job if they do not move with the herd.

Obama says it
Cheerleaders believe unquestioning
Teachers teach it
Self fulfilling bastardization of history

The only real promise he kept was "change", he never stipulated it to be a good change.
Speaking of actual historical facts. Here is the Obama quote in context.

Moreover, given the increasing diversity of America’s population, the dangers of sectarianism have never been greater. Whatever we once were, we are no longer just a Christian nation; we are also a Jewish nation, a Muslim nation, a Buddhist nation, a Hindu nation, and a nation of nonbelievers.
And even if we did have only Christians in our midst, if we expelled every non-Christian from the United States of America, whose Christianity would we teach in the schools? Would we go with James Dobson’s, or Al Sharpton’s? Which passages of Scripture should guide our public policy? Should we go with Leviticus, which suggests slavery is ok and that eating shellfish is abomination? How about Deuteronomy, which suggests stoning your child if he strays from the faith? Or should we just stick to the Sermon on the Mount – a passage that is so radical that it’s doubtful that our own Defense Department would survive its application?

Obama says it.
Obama haters alter what was said.
Altered version of statement and intent repeated often.
Self fulfilling bastardization of history.

Moon God?

Islam views Jesus as a major Prophet and Muhammed as the final prophet, not God.

There are endless translations and interpretations of scripture.

Muhammed viewed most gospels as false, influenced by man and regional politics.

Many Muslim Scholars view some or all of the thousands of Hadiths conceived after the death of Muhammed by man and influenced by politics as false.

There are endless translations and interpretations of the Quaran and Hadiths.

Most reasonable people can differentiate the massive genocide perpetuated by The Lord's Christian Army in Uganda and mainstream Christianity.

Most reasonable people can differentiate the US ministers who proclaim all gays should be stoned to death or that woman must submit to men and mainstream Christianity.

Yet, a heck of a lot of people choose to paint 25% of the world's population with a broad brush.
