Some parents in the Anoka-Hennepin School District are questioning a choir teacher’s decision to use a song about Ramadan performed in Arabic at a holiday concert.
At Thursday night’s concert at Blaine High School, one of the songs students will be singing includes Arabic words, including the phrase “Allahu Akbar,” which means “God is great.”
You're just showing average American ignorance about a major world culture. Ramadan is not connected to a particular month. It changes each year.
Bet that major world culture knows nothing of US culture and doesn't care to learn. Ignorance steeped in lies marks the stone age ME cultures.
The only reason that major culture has come to the forefront is the death and destruction caused in its embrace. The social justice crowd thinks if we bend over backward they won't want to kill us while the peaceful majority sympathizes with the 'small minority'.

According to the link, only 4/ 52 Muslim majority countries ban all religion other than Islam. One in particular, Saudi Arabia, is a long time US ally.
I would bet that the Somalian refugee population in Minnesota predates the Obama Administration by a few years. This has been brought to us by religious organizations mostly, especially Catholic Charities or other religious organizations. I'd say it is largely benign and designed to help large groups of people escape the horrible conditions in their own countries. Unfortunately, there are certain people radicalizing a lot of the immigrants or their children here in this country, recruiting them to ISIS. I imagine the clash of cultures for kids born here to Somalian refugees is difficult to navigate. It does seem that in Europe and here it is the children born of these refugees or immigrants that are more prone to radicalization.
Somalian refugee resettlement began in the mid 80's and peaked during the 90's during the Somalian Civil War. Lutheran Social Services and Catholic Chariities are conduits for government financial aid.
Yeah the Catholic Charities mostly brought these people in, Obama imo is responsible and allowed for the bad ones to come in then influencing/affecting a percentage of the benign ones. That's why I prefaced Obama.

Actually, as it relates to resettlement of Somalians in Minnesota, Lutheran Social Services has been at the forefront. Both Lutheran Social Services and Catholic Charities are major conduits for distribution of state and federal financial aid.
The pieces have been forced into place, like a square peg in a round hole.
Obama said: “Whatever we once were, we are no longer a Christian nation” and “I also know that Islam has always been a part of America’s story.”
Rather than using actual historical facts to judge, Obama is praised as the greatest President in history, to those who will it to be, based solely on ideology. I believe it therefore it is.
Many many educators are just as befuddled about how the institution is becoming so extreme, so dishonest in their totalitarian push to erase American history as they see fit. The problem is they could be out of a job if they do not move with the herd.
