Well, in that case, do you have any better ideas, ideas that are Constitutional?

Can't disagree with you. Hate crimes legislation has masked a real mental health - dealing effectively with life's curve balls - issue in this country. The legislation ought to go. No need for a separate class of murder assalt and so forth,

This has some truth to it. Up until recently southren states had some pretty serious and confusing gun laws that were mostly due to post civil war/ jim crow era.

I do.

Stop the catch and release program that we currently have for violent criminals and start sentencing in accordance with the crime. Premeditated murder should get a minimum of life without parole, for example.

End the war on drugs which drives the violence in urban areas.

Stop rewarding people with multiple out of wedlock children.

In your dreams. That's the last place those guns come from.

frontline: hot guns: "How Criminals Get Guns" | PBS

"Stolen guns account for only about 10% to 15% of guns used in crimes"
Your meme is wrong, the DOJ had nothing to do with his sentencing, it was the judge in the case, and he is a George H.W. Bush appointee.

The problem with internet memes is that people wholeheartedly believe them just because they agree with them without ever once trying to figure out if they are true.

How did Obama respond to questions?

1) Lies, blamed it falsely on Bush.

Barack Obama said 'Fast and Furious' began under the Bush administration | PolitiFact Florida

2) Then used executive privilege to shut down the investigation. So much for the most transparent administration in US History.

3) Then Holder, his AG, lied to congress over it too!
You shouldnt use the word lie so freely when no one has ever proven a F&F gun was used to kill any American.

You also shouldnt use an ipso facto argument, which is what Politifact did. If you shut down a restaurant for a year, and then reopen it under another name in the exact same location do you claim it is a new restaurant. The answer is obviously no, and yet that is what both you and politifact are arguing.

There is one reason I care about these statistics. Black men are the #1 murder victim in the USA. Black men already have among the lowest life expectancies in the nation. And I know homicide plays a big part, alongside heart disease, cancer, and a host of other issues, many related to stress. For every person perpetrating murder, there is a victim of murder.

Many people only want talk about Black men committing murders. Because of that, I often ask "what is your point in bringing this up"? I look at it like this. If it is hurting anyone who isn't Black, then people will get up in arms about it. However, if Blacks, especially males, are suffering the worst, then that factor gets ignored.
