National Review is pointing out that a lot of people are failing to realize that the petition isn’t real and was just an experiment. Joseph was able to get signatures by convincing numerous students by using words such as “racially ambiguous” and “micro-aggression.”
Again, some students did laugh it off, but some listened to Joseph intently on what he had to say. As soon as he told one student that the song supported “white supremacy in the holiday season,” well, she couldn’t sign the petition fast enough.
