Barbaric huh?

Yes, it is barbaric. Which is why, in the US and other countries, adultery is no longer punishable. I'll be glad when the rest of the world catches up.

What legal punishment is appropriate for Adultery?

There shouldn't be any. You don't want to give government any more or extra power.

This being said, if you've been cheated on, find yourself a hotter gal or guy, problem solved.

I see what you did there.

Leviticus 20:10

But the fundamentalists will be along shortly to inform us that Leviticus is only relevant when it comes to homosexuality. For everything else, it no longer applies.

well, if you were a Serial Cheater who believes

1. Sex is wonderful, and should be enjoyed like food.

2. Monogamy is not the ultimate form of love, nor is it only related to sex.

I am sure you won't mind living in a Christian majority country. At least, you won't be stoned to death. Can you really deny that?

I was actually surprised how long it took for someone to catch that.

The fundamentals are right to say that though. My point is that until Jesus died, that was the law they operated under.

I suppose there is no point to compare modern day Muslims to ancient Christians.

Religion should be evolving. Period.

Works for me. I find it absolutely disgusting that people cheat on one another. You took an oath. Want out? AFTER counseling etc then you can divorce.
