The county prosecutor is on air now blaming Rice and defending his officers.
Yet another case of a prosecutor leading a grand jury by the hand and explaining why he wants/doesn't want to prosecute.
He had no evidence to get a prosecution.
Imagine cops get a 911 call some guy is waving a gun at people near a recreation center.
that means kids are in danger.

Orange band removed form airsoft gun so it looks real, kid not responding to orders. The parents thought it was fine to have their disbled kid who can't communicate easily run around with a gun with the ornage band removed. Imagine, why would someone remove the orange band? to make the gun look real. Means someone had toknow why the orange band was on the gun. Probably didn't matter as thye kid drew the gun.
You hate to see the city burn, but it seems the only way to get people's attention to the problem of cops murdering minority children, old people, mentally ill, dogs, cats, and god knows what else with utter impunity.
Maybe people should focus on getting the attention of the those who cause this problem, maybe the people who fail to raise their children are the ones who you need to grab attention from.
But hey, burn your own hood down in protest... have at it.

An outstanding synopsis.
Very tragic incident, but at least the officers weren't thrown to the wolves due to the likes of threats of rioting and the Black Lives Matter crowd.
He never said that. The 911 caller referred to Rice as a "Guy" at one point and at one point said "He's probably a juvenile". Prisons are filled with violent juveniles. Not quite the same as saying he believed he was a kid. Also, 911 never passed that info on to the police. How could they have known?
That wasn't the claim. The claim was no one could have known. The caller seemed to have some idea.
Are you sure that this info was passed on to the officers? Even if it was, would you believe dispatch or your eyes? The kid was 5'7" and weighed 175 lbs. That's not your average 12 yo.
He doesn't care about the truth, just give up. These people aren't going to accept the truth of what happened no matter what facts are presented.
Facts rarely presented......the officer that shot him was in the midst of being fired from his previous job as an officer in Independance Ohio (a Cleveland suburb) for lacking the "emotional stability" to be a police officer. That he exhibited a dangerous lack of composure in weapons training.
He was allowed to resign before he was fired. The Cleveland police force hired an unstable individual and he went off as predicted by his earlier superiors.
Said the guy whose property is far from where the rioters will be starting fires.
Cleveland is my hometown. I was born on the banks of Lake Erie. I still care about the city which is why I am so concerned about who they allow as police officers.
