The government is not your friend. If you do something like not paying your taxes they can and will shut you down and clear out your bank account.
I still do not know why anyone would want to do business with a business that does not want their business.... Why give them money when they will probably do a shoddy job? Was that the only bakery in the city?

Poorly written article, doesn't explain why $7000 was taken from their account in addition to the $135,000. Why shouldn't they have to pay like any other business that violates the law. Anyway according to this article they received $515,000 in donations so I wouldn't feel too sorry for them just yet. That money could have gone to many better causes than this stubborn couple, what happened to the remaining funds?
Sounds very similar to Bundy, break the law then lose in court and complain about the tyrannical government.
