I had to look up what "doxes" meant.

She is one dangerous politician.

"A Minneapolis city councilwoman published the addresses, phone numbers and other personal contact information of people who took her to task for taking part in a Black Lives Matter protest that shut down the Mall of America on Wednesday.

Not only that, but Alondra Cano had the audacity to complain on social media that she was the one being targeted for abuse....."

Idiot doesn't understand the difference between being able to legally do something, and whether she should have done something.

It's not clear to me that it's legal for even an elected politician to give up confidential contact information that is stored in a government database. And certainly not for the purpose of settling a personal score.

It the city has a published privacy policy stating that anyone who uses the system will have their contact info kept private, then she has at least, as a minimum, exposed the city to civil litigation.

Anybody could have Googled those complainants' personal contact information, which is publicly available. So all she did was save a step for people. . . But clearly, she exercised bad judgment. I would feel differently if the complainants were abusive and out of line (e.g., vulgar, racist, misogynistic, etc.) - if you act that way, she has every right to out you publicly. But as long as they are acting civilly, there is no excuse for this kind of stuff.

This council member may face ethics charges if the people she posted personal information on file complaints.

Her Minneapolis City Council President Barb Johnson said "while she doesn’t want to comment on the conduct of another council member, the residents who had their personal information shared on Twitter may be able to file an ethics complaint against Cano", according to the local CBS News.

This is the oppression that Minneapolis residents live under. I'm talking about REAL Minnesotans, not these turds they keep importing from the 3rd world who are ruining the place. The good folks who are trying to keep the wheels on the machine and keep it working.
