Most of the current gun laws violate the constitution.

This latest one by California... possibly. But as far as the laws as to who can purchase a gun do NOT violate the constitution.

Why not? In the Constitution does it state who can and cannot have a firearm?

Our local sheriff and many others in the area, are urging us to get a CCW and keep our rights. They will not confiscate guns from locals.

The best thing Obama could do to promote gun control is to stop mentioning guns. Every time he talks about gun control or taking action, gun and ammo sales go through the roof. He's the best thing that's ever happened to gun manufacturers, and he doesn't even realize it.

I'm a police officer. If someone gave the order to round up guns, we'd laugh at it. We aren't concerned with what Obama wants. I work and live in a state with Conservative leadership that recently made it legal to have a gun in your car without a permit. We aren't taking guns away anytime soon. I do agree with stricter background checks and a few other changes, but I would never participate in taking guns away from law-abiding citizens.

"Obama at it again making law with his pen"

That's what pens are for.

We don't need a permit here to have a gun in the car either.

It is very simple. If the People refuse to comply the tyrant's orders are worthless. Refuse to comply with illegal decrees.

The time for real Americans to stand up and take our country back from the enemies within draws nearer with each act of tyranny.
