Why don't we make everyone approve their own prison sentences? They can choose? We don't want to upset them. It's ridiculous that the same people that would cheer for a lengthy prison sentence for someone else, feels such sympathy when it's one of their own. I'm sure people convicted of manslaughter would rather have shorter sentences too.

Freud might have something to say about you having images of rape flash across your brain when talking about this situation. Bizarre, to say the least.

Why the hyperbole? They didn't set and approve their sentence, a judge did.

He wants to go home to find his animals. "I need to get home," he said. "I got cows that are scattered and lost." Are you one of those who if they had 100 sheep and one went astray would not leave the other 99 behind to find the one that was lost?

32 degrees and sleeting right now, 17 tonight. I am so enjoying this.
They are on a wildlife preserve and they have firearms with ammunition. Do you think that they can't feed themselves if needed? Do you think that they came unprepared to start a fire? No wonder leftists like safe spaces, they would never survive a day in the wilderness.

Compassion? They broke the law. The schools have been closed and the town is asking them to leave. They do not have the right to do that to anyone.

But arrest warrants have been issued, so there's that.

A member of the small, armed group that has been occupying a national wildlife refuge in Oregon says he believes federal officials have issued warrants for the arrest of five group members.
