Yes cars are confiscated for many reasons all through legal channels and with cause.
So in other words, registration does lead to confiscation, whenever the government feels like doing so. We're in agreement then. That's s what you meant to say after all.
Abbott was made a complete fool by his Jade Helm antics.
We finally know the details of Texas Gov. Greg Abbott's plan to monitor the military exercise Jade Helm 15 to ensure it does not subjugate an unruly Texas and place it under Islamic control, or whatever the newest version of that theory is on a day-to-day basis.
“During the training operation, it is important that Texans know their safety, constitutional rights, private property rights and civil liberties will not be infringed," Abbott wrote to Maj. Gen. Gerald Betty, saying he expects "regular updates on the progress and safety of the Operation."
AUSTIN (KXAN) — After Gov. Greg Abbott pushed back Monday against criticism of his request that the State Guard monitor a U.S. military training exercise — one some believe is a government conspiracy to launch a hostile takeover of Texas — he is talking more about his concerns surrounding the Jade Helm operation. He’s trying to “instill a sense of calm” for Texans, amid mistrust of President Obama.
Now, what was that bold talk of yours about a lie?
I bet you have an "except - but only when, clause" when a woman says,.... No, you shall not infringe tonight. When she says it twice, there is another except - but only when clause right behind that, to get what you want.
Cars are confiscated by the government for numerous reasons, routinely. Do you people actually believe that failed attempts at sarcasm such as the above are witty retorts to those who abhor government overreach?
If there is one tactic sure to fail in the face of government power, it is snark based on false assumptions. You should consider shoring up your armory before any further attempts to enter liberal attack mode.
And in the majority of cases it's with good reason. What's your point?

Not "whenever" the government says so. That's the weak point in your argument. We're a land of laws. Break 'em and bear the consequences.

No, confiscation of cars only occurs when a crime is committed, when it comes to guns there is always this nefarious government scheme to take people guns after registration.
No, confiscation of cars only occurs when a crime is committed...
Crimes are misdemeanors and felonies, all else are violations, many being specious at best. Wanna guess which of the three is mostly likely to result in confiscation of your registered vehicle?

How childish, but this is what politics in American has become. No one said someone coming to take guns away from anyone.
"Come and Take it" is a Texas Legend from the Texas War of Independence at the Battle for Gonzales. It's also a Battle Flag in Texas and on shirts all over the State. He was talking to Texans and they certainly don't think it's "childish".
