Social issues are important, but the next President MUST be focused on getting a budget that cuts out the fraud, corruption and blatant negligence of the bloated federal bureaucracy and ensures national security and solvency. The president was NEVER meant to be the moral compass for the nation and I pray that our next President understands that and maintains focus on his constitutionally mandated concerns!!

How do you separate social from fiscal issues? Aren't they interrelated in too many ways?

Social welfare spending? Incarceration? It's naive to dichotomize the two.

Our nation's production has been badly damaged by the Merchantile Capitalism of the rest of the world. We need to do this:


Support the general Welfare of our own people by effectively nationalizing the health Care industry among others.


Rebuild our rusting infrastructure and start developing Green nuclear power.


Support our military empire around the world.

When I vote, I pay attention to social issues, which very much includes the social impacts of fiscal issues. For me, there is no bright line between social and fiscal issues.

I think that if we get the social issues right, it's easier to resolve the fiscal issues - because getting the social issues right means we have agreed on what's important, so we have priorities from which we can work.

Our safety with a strong well funded military then next fiscal dicipline because without the budget in check no matter how big a heart for social programs some may have, there won't be the money to do any of them.

I see that way too. I'm a conservative and am most concerned about the mass immigration of non-westerners and 3rd worlders. I see this as a social and fiscal issue. I see free trade as both a fiscal and social issue.
