No one said it was.

I wish you were right, but again you are wrong. All anyone needs to do is read through these threads, and the number of comments that argue the 2A is all we need to consider are too many to count, and no doubt another will soon appear in this thread again. Just watch...

No one has done that. They have argued that the 2nd is the only thing that needs considered where it comes to restricting law abiding citizens.

I tried to discuss earlier what we need to do concerning gun violence and no one told me to stop.

The discussion should be how we can reduce crimes not how we can make law abiding citizens into criminals.

Until that's changed, this is not going to be productive.

The problem with people from the left is that they don't give a crap about crime or law abiding citizens and they just hate and fear gun ownership and would rather have a total ban or legislate it to death.

I'm a little afraid to ask, but what does this mean, exactly? "They have argued that the 2nd is the only thing that needs considered where it comes to restricting law abiding citizens."

Sometimes I get the feeling you just want to comment for the sake of comment. Or is there some way to have laws that don't affect everyone somehow? We have speeding laws, for example, to address speeders, not necessarily everyone who drives. We have laws to prevent drug abuse by drug abusers, but those laws also affect everyone (and why we need to get a prescription from a doctor). Tax laws, alcohol, you name it...

What is the confusion here when it comes to the 2A "end-all" argument?

Again, to advocate gun-control is not a non-starter because of the 2A, and if you don't think there are many people who think otherwise, you are simply not paying attention.

You know perfectly well what my argument is. I've done this too long to waste my time repeating what you already know.

What is surely the most unproductive is to make ridiculous claims like this one!

I am a liberal, and this is utter nonsense, again complete misrepresentation of what others think. I suppose maybe that is the last resort when supporting an argument so badly made, but really?

What laws or measures are these that "make law abiding citizens into criminals?" Or are you talking about law abiding citizens who decide they are above the law and break them? Like maybe someone who doesn't believe they should pay taxes? Is that it?

How can it be proposed that liberals "don't give a crap about crime or law abiding citizens" and all the rest of that garbage and expect to be taken seriously?

Right, why am I bothering with this either?

Agreed! Right! Let's not waste any more time, yours or mine. My favorite comment of yours so far!

Liberal is a shortened version of liberalization. That is not what you are. You are an authoritarian.

Are we speaking in English, seriously? Or are you having problem with being truthful and honest?
