In all fairness, that is from a parody account -- there are several.
The real one seldom posts, maybe a couple of tweets a day off and on. About a week ago, the real one's twitter account got shut down for about 12 to 24 hours. Spoof accounts took over. The real one is back up (as of my best knowledge), but typically not noteworthy.
If they get anything, I'm totally taking over one of the Visitor Centers at Olympic National Park. That's how it works, right? You just take over a government building and they give you stuff? You call yourself a patriot and people send you cash and French vanilla creamer?
And states were created by the people, fairly quickly. and the Port of New Orleans was allowed to be a naval port.
Who owns Texas?
Public land in Texas is owned by the state because it was a republic before it joined the union and the terms of joining allowed it to retain its public land. That land still belongs to the state, not the individual citizens.
New Orleans and the surrounding area were private lands at the Louisiana Purchase and the US respected those rights. Quoting the document "all public lots and Squares, vacant lands and all public buildings, fortifications, barracks and other edifices which are not private property" were purchased. Clear enough?
The federal government does not have a military base on the land, thus they have no business to be there.
53% of the state of Oregon, is "Federal land".
What gives the federal government the authority to own state land, other than military options?
They are not even suppose to have federally own buildings, outside of what we the people gave them,( The District of Columbia ).
More directly to the point, the Malheur Refuge used to be the Paiute reservation until the tribe was forcibly relocated to Washington State. They watched their treaty lands shrink from 1.5 million acres to a tiny 760 acres. The federal government "owns" vast areas of the west that should be returned to the native peoples they stole it from.

BURNS — The armed militants occupying the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge announced Tuesday morning that they will drive into Burns at the end of the week to hold a community meeting and inform residents when they will leave.
The meeting will take place at 7 p.m. Friday evening, said Robert "LaVoy" Finicum. The location has yet to be determined. All are invited to attend, Finicum added.
This has been federal land every since it was ceded to the US from Mexico. And these people don't want to buy it, they want it given to them. Why are they special?
No, it was not federal land, it was Paiute land until their treaty rights were violated and the Malheur Reservation was taken from them.

Where is Cliven Bundy now? Following his armed standoff, the BLM gave him back his cattle, although he has still not paid more than $1 million in fees and fines and still grazes his cattle on federal lands.
Where is the justice in that?
It is no wonder the BLM has a second standoff on its hands. The first one worked!
As you are jawing this over at the coffee shop or sitting on the wagon tongue, don’t be quick to throw the federal government under the bus, unless you are critical of its mixed messages on enforcement.
And don’t be quick to praise this “militia.” They are just bullies testing our boundaries in the literal and figurative sense.
"We feel strongly because we have had a good working relationship with the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge," she said. "We view them as a protector of our cultural rights in that area."
