Austria has been there. Far-right came into government and screwed up big times. All they have to offer are big words, they won't change anything substantial. They are basically buying votes from the working class by making promises they can't fulfill. The electorate is too stupid, though, to figure that out.

Anyway, I don't see a single party or political movement that could reform the country in a way that it will stay sustainable over the next 50 years.

As for the refugees: everything will work out just fine over time. It always has. No reason to panic.

Depends on what is meant by diversity. Every country in the world has the right to retain their natural/identifying cultures and languages without so many foreigners coming there that it changes it to something else. Diversity is ok in small numbers but not when it becomes overwhelming and those foreigners are not assimilating to their society but changing it instead.

I would say the bigger issue is the mentality of native Europeans that led to a fertility rate that will in several generations literally lead to extinction. That is why mass immigration is needed in the first place. Rather than life being centered around hard work and family most Europeans now have self centered lives where the meaning of life is free time, vacations, and shopping. Having children would mean less time and money for video games. Most even have so much moral relativity that they actually believe the scientifically and statistically disproved notion that all human beings are equal in intelligence and moral fiber, therefore they feel any filtering of immigrants is evil. If the immigrants don't assimilate it must be the fault of Europe?

All societies are based on a set of core beliefs / values. You will struggle to assimilate into that society if you don't share their values. You won't fit into Saudi society if you are a heavy drinker. If you are offended by scantily clad women you will struggle in Europe. Europe has willing let in 1 million people who will have at least some problems assimilating, some will not be able to assimilate at all. Europe is digging it's own grave. A Europe will exist 100 years from now but it won't be the same as today's Europe.

Let me guess, you believe white Europeans are genetically superior to everyone else?

Diversity where everything is equal is a good thing. Forced diversity is a terrible thing.

Their culture certainly has been. I do not know the reason why. Think modern medicine, men on the moon, nuclear power, modern agriculture, almost every invention that impacts your life.

So you tell me if they are superior or not.

Exactly. It is all a non-issue unless the American political establishment fails to learn a lesson from what is happening over there and allows it to happen here.

What happened in the past is no guarantee of the same happening in the future.
Refugees of the past didn't live by laws created in 600AD when they migrated.

These refugees won't assimilate. Their Koran forbids it.

No I don't think they are superior at all. The European whites are clearly more selfish than other cultures. All those successes you cite are short term. We have had only 500-600 years of western "enlightenment." I believe the continued dominance of eurocentric western civilization will in time destroy the delicate natural balance necessary for life to exist on this planet. None of the ancient Asian, African, Middle-Eastern or South American cultures ever came close to making the planet uninhabitable but the white Europeans definitely possess enough arrogance to pull it off.
