What a brave heroic move. Their cooperation with the American and Mexican governments was both unprecedented and lucrative.
Between the probable reward monies split between the staff of Rolling Stone an Penn and the probable suitcase of money they could have scammed off of El Jailo, they made off like lottery winners.
Hat tip to you all for you wonderful coordinated efforts to take that bad drug lord down.
Obama may give you medals.
👍
SP will lose his head over this. Mexican papers wil talk about his natural death. the US media will want a stamp with Penn's face.
Reminds me of an Evel Knievel stunt but without a recovery.
Penn's ego got the best of him. He thought he was being cool and a rebel bringing El Chapo's story to the public. He inadvertently led authorities to the big prize. Trust that was not his intention, and now he very well could pay a very dear price. He is a leftist tool and deserves what outcome awaits him from people sympathetic to the drug lord.
Yep...and he will undoubtedly surround himself with a ****load of guns...of which he opposes.
If Mr Penn helped police find el chapo, I would think that life insurance on him right now would be a good investment. Chapo is incredibly dangerous, and has immense wealth. These people can be very personable, and would find that sort of betrayal insanely offensive.
Him being moved to a US high security prison is going to be a shock to him, and he is going to be beyond pissed.
Let Chapo be pissed WHEN he winds up cuffed and stuffed in the US. Al Capone was cocky when he was sent to Alcatraz 80 years ago but, he was put in his place real fast.
If I were Penn, I would find a hole and crawl in it for a while. Great time for a really long vacation.
