This is the man who sat in Rev Wrghts church for 20 years and never heard the hate speech the Rev is noted for. We can otherwise assume Obama never viewed the Rev's hate speech as hate speech.
We have to ask ourselves what the background for all this religious symbolism was. "Under God" was added to the pledge of allegience in 1954 at the height of the Cold War. This breakfast was added the year before. Why? What was the purpose?

Can you explain exactly what conservatives call "hate speech" in any of Rev. Wrights comments? Other than the source, it sounds very similar to the stuff spouted by the far right fringe groups like the Tea Party, Oathkeepers, etc.
