So were they attacking only non-Muslims or Muslims too?
They attacked Starbucks and foreigners. If Muslims were hurt, it was because they were associating themselves with non Mooslems. Indonesia has had many attacks by Muslim terrorists....which as others have pointed out the obvious to you...is what Muslims do.

Believe it or not, there are many Muslims that live respectable lives and interact peaceably with non-Muslims. Especially in a country like Indonesia, which is fairly far removed from Saudi-influenced Wahabbism. The extremists absolutely hate this. Some may use religious propaganda and guilt trip otherwise peaceable Muslims, while others resort to attacking them.

I don't live in Indonesia, and neither do you, so it isn't our country.....though it is a very valid question because if they are attacking peaceful Muslims, then they are terrorists that is hiding behind a religion.
Since it is a majority muslim country, one has to assume some of the victims are muslim. I guess we will find out eventually.

Islam condones and in other cases requires muslims to wage jihad against non-muslims. The fact that not all muslims commit acts of violent jihad against non-muslims doesn't change the fact it is in their religion, their sacred texts. Terrorists do represent the religion in this sence.

add to that - most of the non violent ones support sharia law, a violent and barbaric religious law.
That in itself speaks volumes.
