No, they are muslim terrorist who will be terrorist in any country they are in.
The population in Indonesia is about 250 million.
From the CNN link:
" Indonesia is the most populous Muslim country in the world but has a secular government. That has made it a ripe target for extremists and ISIS' high profile extremism has gained a small following there.
Forces all over the world are being caught off guard and surprised by low level, small scale attacks".
The US population has an insatiable demand for drugs. Gangs control the markets and use violence to resolve turf disputes. They target friends and families of their rivals. They tend to leave their end consumers alone because the bottom lind relies on repeat business.
Are most Americans members of gangs or otherwise engaged in the drug trade?
There is a difference between some, many, most and all.
Yet, some find it easy to use a broad brush to paint 25% of the world's population.
Islam condones and in other cases requires muslims to wage jihad against non-muslims. The fact that not all muslims commit acts of violent jihad against non-muslims doesn't change the fact it is in their religion, their sacred texts. Terrorists do represent the religion in this sence.
So basically you will be blaming the victims as much as you will be the terrorists. Figures.

Oh please, there are more violent muslims in the world than there are people in the US. If the so-called "peaceful" muslims don't want to be included in that group they need to start fighting against them. They aren't, why not? Because they believe in what they do.

Which has nothing to do with anything.
I'm shocked.
Also from the CNN link: Police believed main target of the attack were foreigners and the police.
They believe the attackers were affiliated with ISIS.

USA has too many gun deaths - too many drug problems - too many rapes - too many religious wackos - too many dogs & cats - too many cars - too many . . . I'm running out of reasons why we can't paint Islam with the same broad brush? 25% of that religion is extremist (that is over 300 million people). If you are making the mistake of saying that only those who are willing to kill are extremist - then you've missed the boat and have a poor understanding of the problem.
I don't live in Indonesia, and neither do you, so it isn't our country.....though it is a very valid question because if they are attacking peaceful Muslims, then they are terrorists that is hiding behind a religion.
It doesn't matter if they kill other Muslims, Christians, Jews, or whatever, if they kill innocent people, they are terrorists, plain and simple, and if it happened in Indonesia, it could happen anywhere else in the world, including the United States, something you can't seem to comprehend.
