Is there an corollary to Godwin's Law for blaming Obama? There should be.

Actually I believe Uber created that by making it easy for someone to make money doing what they already do, drive around.

You're against the freedom to choose? So taxi drivers are somehow not risking their lives or the economy has always been a risk since taxi drivers have been around for along time? ugh I'm defending Obama.

Unfortunately the cost of Prohibiting these drugs is far higher than living with the consequences. It think it is far more sensible to allow these drugs to be available with minimal regulation and only enough taxation to pay for the damages.

The really dangerous drugs, ie. the most likely to kill you quickly are meth and tobacco. The somewhat less dangerous drugs are the depressants like opiates, alcohol and tranquilizers.

All of these drugs were once radially available into a bunch of Puritanical Reformers, for what they thought were the best of reasons, managed to make them illegal. Marijuana was made illegal for two reasons. One was to provide J. Edgar Hoover reason to continue to expand the FBI after the prohibition of alcohol was ended and the second was because it made the economic and political repression of black people easier to implement.

I believe everyone has a nearly absolute right to be stupid. If a person takes a drug and has the metabolism that allows them to become addicted it is not a crime but a medical problem. We need to treat the addicted instead of making the illness a crime.

All the driver had to do, was drive and charge.

He chose not to drive.

He should have done his job.

He's not a businessman.

He should get a job with a cab company.

He should have driven until he was paid to stop.

Obama has nothing to do with it.

Did I "support" the "drunk ahole"?

Or did I state how I would have handled him?

I would have taken him for a ride.

There would have been no assault.

People LIKE rides!

Do you have something against rides?

Are you enjoying the ride right now?

The meter's running.

You wanna get out?

Pay me, and I'll let you out.

Don't pay me, and I'll drive you to the police station.

Get in My cab, Buddie, and I'll assume you want to go on a paid drive.
