Welfare keeps the desperate masses from committing crimes or worse -- becoming Communists.
If they commit crimes it will be easier to round them up and put them in camps (prisons) to do the work Americans allegedly won't do. That would give employers a cheaper source of labor and illegals will then be priced out of the market. They will self-deport or starve.

Prisoners are not slaves. They are paying their debt to society for their crimes. It is punishment. Even during WW2, German prisoners were "rented out" to local farms to help because the farm laborers were off fighting the war.
In 2013, an anonymous white woman calls into a Conservative Radio Program in Austin Texas to defend her "monthly welfare check in the mail".
Someone needs to tell this woman that physical checks in the mail were replaced with EBT cards many years ago. No one would know this better than someone receiving welfare benefits.
If it were my show I would have asked the caller how she manages to get around the Federal/ Texas requirement to work at least 20 hours a week to remain eligible.
Because it is another fake outrage thread using fiction as the source of the outrage.
To be clear, I don't like people who are partial food stamps receivers while popping out kids, keeping the cycle of poverty alive and well. Plenty of real things to get angry over. But conservatives are too intellectually lazy to do some honest to god research. Using fiction is easier.

People who expand their family while on public assistance should lose that assistance.

How does that work if someone can't find a job? Are jobs included in the handouts?

You specifically said in post #34 "give employers a cheaper source of labor." That sure sounds like using forced labor to push down wages.
