The problem is an entire generation of boys raised by women.
There is no shortage of research to show just how negative single parent households are for children, this coupled with the war on men, there is no wonder that the men are struggling in society.

From my observations, there is a growing class of young men who are completely lost in modern America. So many are unemployable, unmotivated, single (and wish they had a girlfriend), etcetera. Women, on the other hand, seem to be doing well.
What will be the result of this? Are we going to have to build more prisons and find reasons to lock away the growing underclass of men?

Face facts...the once all-powerful uterus, saver of the human race, the organ of organs that for ages upon ages rendered females unaccountable, safe and supplied while their male counterparts remained, as always, disposable is losing its magic pro-creative appeal.
juneaubound - Your first paragraph sounds like a great way to raise all kids including the girls. IMHO there is a greater range of personalities within the sexes than between them. Some boys and girls may want to be kind, gentle and sweet. Some want to be commandos. Most want to be somewhere in between. Over all help the kids become whatever their personalities want them to be and be able to do that very well.
My, mostly drunk, stepfather tried to raise me to be a rough, tough and submissive. He got the first two.
They will be absorbed into trailer parks and the hood along with their children and so on. The wealthy elites will throw them bread crumbs to make sure they stay there.
Well, since they can't get girlfriends, they aren't going to have children, so the gene pool will improve.
Ship all the well paying jobs and the opportunity that goes with them, and this is the result. Yet people continue to vote for politicians that love "free trade" deals and globalization, because they are partisans.
