In my view, Americans depend on guns for psychological comfort rather than a practical means of protection.

I don't doubt that there have been instances where guns have protected people in dangerous situations, but it's uncommon that I come across recounts of (or data on) such occurrences. Why is that?

I'd be open to changing my position if I was presented with a significant amount of peer-reviewed research.

None of the above.

How the Hell can you make "regulations to prevent guns falling into the wrong hands? "

Someone who took this idiotic poll keep us posted on the score. I am sure our anti-dun nuts will prevail on this one

I'm sure that they wish that didn't exist now that Germany is overrun by peaceful refugees

Isn't the whole gun issue as tired by now as Hilary's E-mails?

Another ignorant anti gun nut with absolutely no idea what the gun laws even are in the US. Stay out of a few liberal cities and the US is as safe as any other country in the world. In spite of what the anti gun nuts think the entire US is not East Saint Louis, Baltimore or Detroit.

Even the CDC under Obamas directive found a minimum of 500,000 defensive gun uses every year. Why is it uncommon? That's hardly a secret or deep mystery. Do you really expect liberal biased media to report on defensive gun uses when they can hype crime instead?

If all you ever look at are "news" sources like Mother Jones, Huffington or MSNBC of course you won't ever hear about them.

Stupid poll.

How about this?

Who believes "Shall not be infringed" means just that?

Who believes only stupid people will disarm themselves in the face of barbarism?

None of the above is not a choice...

I wonder why.

There should be NO restrictions on gun ownership, unless you are behind bars.
