Based on flimsy intelligence supplied to them by the worst administration in the history of this nation.

I thought everyone knew our country didn't have any solid proof but it was too dangerous to rely on guesses and Saddam pretended he had lots of weapons. He said before he died he had to pretend because he was afraid of Iran attacking him.

He never let the inspectors in to see for themselves if he had weapons or not.

Bush needed a way to justify and accomplish his murder of Saddam Hussein. WMD's were a necessary fiction to accomplish this murder. The rest of were either fooled or accomplices.

So, where's this controversy that conservatives keep bringing up about the line in the sand?
Sorry, but if you believe that, there is no talking to you.

When forwarding the report, Air Force Maj. Gen. Glen Shaffer answered Rumsfeld’s original question by noting,
We don’t know with any precision how much we don’t know.

I've known this since 2003.

People don't seem to realize that Congress was handed the same lies as the American public. Of course they voted yes, both Dems and Repubs.

Well played, GWB, trillions of dollars and thousands of lives invested in an unnecessary slaughter. And for bonus points, the only barrier to radical organizations like ISIS was removed.

But the folks at Halliburton got rich, so I guess it wasn't a total loss.

I don't think Bush himself got a true picture, either. I know Rumsfeld knew the truth, I'm pretty sure Cheney did.

But I think Bush got just what everyone else got.
