The police are overextended and stretched too thin to carry out their duties.
But they aren't too overburdened to charge the victim with this ridiculous violation.
The folks in Sonderborg need to get rid of that nest of rats called the police dept and then send the mayor and city council packing.
Perhaps the police are stretched too thin, because liberals have dumped hundreds of Muslim migrants in the small city and it has caused a spike in sex attacks? The local bar has had groups of Muslim migrants go into the ladies room and even enter the bathroom stalls to grope women. Cultural misunderstandings...

Then the police should spend their time and resources addressing those issues instead of charging this girl for defending herself against a predator.
This may be the written law on paper, but the people support this GIRL.
The 'fine' is a good thing because the absurdity of the fine has garnered more attention.
Normally Swedes are reticent to talk about a specific group of people but, like a wave, it's changing, and more and more, they are saying the government better deal with it and fast. Hence, 80,000 deported and more to follow.
Many are concerned that if the government doesn't act responsively and forcefully that a party like the Swedish Dems will gather support.
Europe was a cesspool with no rights or freedom for the average person in the 1630's when my family made a smart decision and left to a new continent. It's unfortunate that some people here want to take away that freedom that was hard won centuries ago.
