Evidently science, math and history are not his strong points.

Yes we shouldn't quibble about a petty 1.8 billion year mistake.

I could write it off to a simple dyslexia mistake, but then he went and claimed that humans have been around for 4.5 to 5 billion years.

But whatever you do don't let facts get in the way because Al Gore and company needs your money!
'Steve Goddard' is a fraud. His real name is Tony Heller. He pretended to be a climate scientist on his nutty junk-science conspiracy blog before getting outed.

What's even more concerning is that Ted Cruz used a dodgy graphic from Heller's junk-science conspiracy blog in a recent senate hearing as 'evidence'.

I see that the deniers are STILL not able to post any credible evidence to back up their claims that man made global warming is a hoax in this thread either. You guys are 0 for 2.

It was a simple mistype. I'm well aware of the age of the earth and the age of man.

You have still ignored the question: what makes the last 135 years statistically significant out of billions of years, especially since the proxy records show cyclical warming and cooling periods long before man.

I'll accept that was an honest silly mistake.

So how old do you think the earth is?
