Only an absolute idiot would try to sell a gun at either site anyway, so it's pretty much nonsense.

Anyone who celebrates this bit of news must think FB is the only way people can talk. Heard of gunbroker.com and a dozen other similar sites? eBay banned gun sales long ago too. What happened?

Many internet gun sales moved over to FB after bans from other sites, yes there will remain internet sites that do allow sales but no where near the power of FB.

Once again you have gone out of your way to display your lack of knowledge of the subject matter.. Nobody in their right mind tries to sell a gun on FB. There are other extremely large sites that are far more conducive to gun sales than FB. Would you go to WalMart to buy your next car? Wait, YOU probably would...

Probably the last place in the world I would ever try to sell a gun is facebook. The only thing facebook is good for is wasting time while sitting on the sh!tt3r.

Some FB sites sell dozens of guns per day. One I am on has 11,000 members, all local.

Dozens? Some gun sites sell thousands of guns a day.. A handful of idiots selling guns on FB hardly makes a dent in gun sales.

Many local people don't buy or sell hundreds of guns. We meet directly with the buyers.

Same thing occurs on the gun sites... Locals selling to locals... Anybody who sells guns on FB is limiting their market. Most of these sites you can post for free and make private sales..
