Don't give them up....they aren't going to search that hard if at all...
I just go to the Gun Store Loophole Store, where you don't have to worry about filling out those pesky 4473's.

Just another reason you never give your rights away... They are taken.

I will never ever register any of my guns. The government at all levels has no business what I have or not.
They are asking to find out the hard way.

What happens if it was dropped in the lake 12 years ago? Or something like that.

I'm actually embarrassed to say I registered my Dad's hand me down handguns here in CA. Now they know where they are.

Oh, I remember 1AngryTaxpayer mentioning that awhile back. He accidentally dropped them in a lake during a boating accident, they were never recovered. What a bummer.

I hope at least a handful of those citizens have the guts to face the oath breaking officer and say NO! I hope even the fairly balanced Democrats see this as completely wrong.

BPD checks death records and pistol permit records

"We recently started a program where we're cross referencing all the pistol permit holders with the death records, and we're sending people out to collect the guns whenever possible so that they don't end up in the wrong hands," said Police Commissioner Daniel Derrenda." Because at times they lay out there and the family is not aware of them and they end up just out on the street."

Some police agencies give families of the deceased permit holder 15 days to sell or transfer a weapon or weapons held with the permit to another permit holder or a dealer.
That makes a lot of sense rather than letting them fall into the wrong hands, 15 days is no unreasonable.
