Forget his constant lies. People will forget that he was a pathological liar. But his war on freedom will last forever.
------------------
The U.S. has fallen from the 6th freest economy in the world, when President Barack Obama took office, to 11th place in 2016. America’s declining score in the index is closely related to rapidly rising government spending, subsidies, and bailouts.

Since early 2009:

Government spending has exploded, amounting to $29,867 per household in 2015.

The national debt has risen to $125,000 for every tax-filing household in America—a total over $18 trillion.

The government takeover of health care is raising prices and disrupting markets.

Bailouts and new government regulations have increased uncertainty, stifling investment and job creation.

America

Economic freedom in the USA, is the lowest since the Great Depression.
and it has all happened in the last 20 years, with NAFTA, The China Free Trade Act and the elimination of Glass - Stegall

They opened us up to the global economy, without removing the restrictions, that made us noncompetitive. BUST!

The rich banking off the stock market, could careless about the working class Americans, as long as their assets are saved.....

And we are going to do nothing about it !!!!

We will vote in the same kind of lying political puppets who do the bidding of their wealthy donors.

What's all this fuss about America and the fact of it's demise being a result of political miscreants serving the rich? Isn't this the norm? Isn't this what has been happening throughout our history, or are we to believe those idiots who think that promises of pols equal anything remotely resembling the truth? At seventy I'm seeing this as business as usual, big money getting bigger, pols facilitating the transfer of the public's money to those who "work" the system from their offices in the clouds of New York's skyscrapers, and this is news?

In America, if you like a certain politician, or their party, then his/her malfeasance is excusable. But--If you don't like them, your eyes widen at the same corrupt practices as your "favorite" pol, but never mind that, because----That's politics..I dislike both parties equally, therefore I am being democratic in my calling them out as co conspirators of the cabal of rulers who sit behind the Pres and congress working their little puppet show. Money rules all..

So wait... free trade agreements and deregulation made the American economy LESS free??
Domestic manufacturing can't usually compete with slave labor economies, but the problem isn't a lack of freedom.

The BUST (I guess 2008?) wasn't due to not enough freedom, it was due to the government removing several key restrictions, closing its eyes and hoping for the best.

When this country was founded there was one character trait that the founding fathers said was the most important in preserving liberty and freedom for generations to come, and that trait was VIRTUE. What is virtue, it is the act of doing that which is right.

"Virtue must underlay all institutional arrangements if they are to be healthy and strong. The principles of democracy are as easily destroyed as human nature is corrupted!' - John Adams

Alexis de Tocqueville quoted: "America is great because she is good, and if America ever ceases to be good, America will cease to be great."

It's time we start to hold our elected officials accountable, for government going unchecked will only result in tyranny, it is the people of this country that are the bulwark of liberty and freedom.

It has nothing to do with the rich. It has everything to do with recent government actions such as these;

And Obama could care less about jobs and freedom. He thinks AGW is our biggest threat. Meanwhile, we have ever increasing government spending and ever increasing government regulation. What an idiot.

Patriot act was a leftover from Bush/Cheney. That sucker should have been killed multiple times.

Let's not forget that Bush, Clinton, and Bush laid the foundations for all of this. It isn't just about Obama - all he did was continue to do the bidding of the same masters. They stole from the poor to give to the rich.

..as well as the NDAA! Also, Clinton set us all up for a fall when he wiped out Glass Stegall so the bankers could bankrupt the world. It was the modern version of cleaning out the treasury.

What freedoms have you lost under Obama?

The biggest power grab this century and possibly in all history happened under George W. Bush; the Patriot act.
