An independent bid from him is likely, and if he does run, plan on seeing a strong showing for an independent/third party candidate.

And he's been so far to the left lately that he'll siphon votes almost exclusively from the democratic nominee, and good luck finding any pundits commenting on the issue who predict otherwise.

This will cost democrats valuable states.

And, if New York is one of those States, then it's time for the fat lady to sing as soon as the networks make the projection.

An independent bid from Bloomberg, or anyone, is extremely unlikely at this late stage of the game. Trump is the only candidate ever to have a shot at a independent win - and that's still a long shot.

With the exception of Perot in 1992, it is extremely EARLY for independent/third party bids yet. You'll notice that most third party candidates don't even announce themselves until a couple months prior to their convention in the summer.

Bloomberg is the one delusional enough to think he can win a third party campaign.

Trump knows better, and signed the pledge for a reason.

Trump, should he fail to clinch the nomination, is NOT going to jump in as an independent just to ruin it for his party.

Bloomberg wouldn't do any better than Bush or Kasich.

He'll do enough to cost democrats the election.

He has no chance of winning, but he could take 10% of the vote very easily.
