We already have tens if not hundreds (nationwide) of times more free BC clinics than there are PPs. PPs are redundant, they overlap the service areas of the other free clinics, and they strip the other free clinics' funding.
Like I said, if some of you choose to support PP so strongly, find a way to privately fund it. Get Bill Gates, Zuckerberg, etc., on board. They should be willing to put their money where their mouths are.
The issue isn't nationwide, the issue is Texas obsession with closing PP Clinics along with other free clinics. No need to worry about adjacent clinics stripping funding Texas has done a good job all on their own. If you read through some of the reports on closures you will see that other clinics are being overburdened meeting demand, I guess the poor people will have to rely on the supreme court to correct their legislators short sighted decision.
I have no problem with PP with the exception of selling baby parts. Barbaric and should be banned and the abortion side of PP should be separate from the counseling. Poor stupid women will find ways of ripping those unwanted babies out anyway, so there should be a safe measure to address this problem. Too bad they are so stupid as to not use the free birth control provided to them. you just cant fix stupid.

Oh so you want the Supreme Court to force Texas to give money to Planned Parenthood ?

PP is not a public sector welfare service.
Yeah, I'm not seeing how SCOTUS can force the payment of public funds for a private service when there are other alternatives available, just like they can't force private service providers to accept publicly funded patients.

Well PP is upset because a huge chunk of their revenue is medicaid reimbursement money.
Your analytical skills are severely lacking. That study proves absolutely nothing about the result of a PP facility closure. You can't even prove that a person would have gone to PP, much less that the absence of the facility resulted in more people who wouldn't have otherwise gotten pregnant.Mental midgets up one side and down the other.
Then instead of resorting to personal attacks, why don't you put your money where your mouth is and prove that the numerous sources provided in this thread that clearly demonstrate that availability to reproductive health services have DECREASED since the Texas attack on PP are false.

It's not just PP as was already stated they are not the majority and they are pulling funding from more free clinics than just PP. I will let SCOTUS decide but you can't just restrict funding to free clinics because you don't like PP, that is the definition of obsession.
