President Barack Obama proposed Tuesday to raise $319 billion over the next decade for transportation and other needs with a $10.25-per-barrel tax on crude -- up from $10 that was announced last week.

The higher amount, along with other details, was released Tuesday as part of the president’s $4.1 trillion budget request to Congress.

Obama's $319 billion oil tax plan raised to $10.25 a barrel

319 billion over 10 years.
You can probably get that from cutting the waste out of the defense budget alone.
You could probably get another 100 billion from the waste in the other departments and never notice anything changed.
To put things in perspective. Look what we pay into NATO compared to our NATO partners.

Notice those countries the left loves to use as role models. They are actually leaching off the USA and always have been.
