Nope...nice try**sheesh***

Simply not true. ISIS is largely self-funded, via the illicit oil sales they engage in.

We are not siding with ISIS...we're protecting the anti-Assad militias that we hope to use.

This was a poke in the bear's eye.

Why? How would once again sticking our nose where it doesn't belong benefit the US?

Anti-Assad does not mean Pro-ISIS.

In the bigger picture..this is us..squaring up to Russia.
Yes it does. The weaker Assad becomes the more territory and influence ISIS will gain. Hurting Assad helps ISIS, regardless of what faction we think we are helping.

On that, we agree..but it's been a comedy of errors for 20 years now...historians will weep, when they tell this story a hundred years from now.

Major escalation! This is a State directly attacking another State.

Iran declares its role as a Russian Proxy--and takes a shot at the people who attacked them.

Or more precisely this is us getting unconstitutionally involved in other nations civil wars

You've always been at war with Eurasia.

Just wait for the False Flag Attack on US Forces, which will give the green-light to permanently remove Assad.

I don't recall Trump asking to declare war on Syria.

Did I miss something?

Or does Congress now let Trump do anything?

You are a little late asking that question aren't you?

Doesn't have to always be a false flag.

In any war zone, just having a presence can get you blown up on occasion as you well know.

Hell, you can get blown up by your own forces on accident. '

Just creating a footprint in a region and waiting for an oops can accomplish the same thing do you not agree?

False flags are more needed in a tense area but one not actively on a war footing.
