When Jeb and W. are together, it reminds people of the Florida recount and the chads, which could only deter voters.

JEB! trotting out W to help in South Carolina seems like an extremely short sighted move. It may help him in the SC primary where W is apparently popular with the party faithful, or at least we're told that. But should he manage to pull out a win at the convention all the Democrats have to do is show commercial after commercial of those two standing side by side at a rally.

Bush knew the Arabs were here taking flying lessons and paying cash. They knew it in advance yet did nothing. Yeah, he kept is real safe.....

When has the Middle East EVER been stable? These people have been fighting each other since the bronze age. ISIS was born out of the Sryian conflict which was born from the Arab spring. Do you really think none of this would have happened if we had not invaded Iraq? Obama LET ISIS grow into a dangerous force and created futher instability by pulling our troops out of Iraq.

Even if Bush really had strong evidence bout the Arab flying lessons and it showed up as the most credible threat over all the other possible terrorist scenarios, what should he have done? Deport all Arabs? Shut down all the airspace indefinitely?

Not even close. ISIS was operational in Iraq prior to taking advantage of the Arab Spring and coopting the opposition in Syria. By 2010 ISISL comanders largey consisted of former Iraqi militery and intelligance officers that had served time togther in US militery prisons.

A direct link can be drawn between the invasion of Iraq, the disbanding of the Ba'athist military and imprisonment of anyone connected to Saddam, and the growth of ISIS.

ISIS would have existed regardless. Gotta love how you give zero blame to Obama who tried to write them off as thug group just to save face on his failure against terrorism. Eight years in, and you guys still don't think Obama should take responsibility. Always Bush's fault.
