Broken promises are pretty much the norm with all presidents, but nothing about Obama strikes me as being unforgivably hypocritical or stupid.

If you take a realistic view of what the president actually does, Obama is a pretty excellent public servant.
Just listen to his acceptance speech. He was even going to keep the seas from raising.

Of course.

Being well spoken and clean was the answer.

Other than give me a sense of shame in what he has done to this country in the eyes of the world, innocent folks getting murdered by illegals, public welfare for tens of thousand of moslem 'refugees' (which comes from my tax dollars), the persistent downgrading of the US military while at the same time sending them off for some other reason, letting scum out of GITMO and wanting to bring the thugs to the US Penal system so they can continue to wreak havoc here, support black thugs (ie Martin, Brown, et al) who have flaunted the system, taken countless 'vacations' on the taxpayer dime (most recent will be trip to Cuba, which in his own words will be "for fun"), creating chaos for the Constitution for his illegal 'executive orders', appointing a RACIST self-described 'wise latina' as a SCOTUS judge who is supposed to be impartial, appointing a critter who has ZERO judicial experience to the highest court in the land, and bowing and kissing the ring of the Saudi King. But outside of those things ... very little to me personally.

My income is the same, my stocks have gone down, and I am working on my taxes, which will go up.

I did not receive that benefit ... I am happy you did.

I still own my home and never got the benefit of a lower interest rate. Got stuck with a 6.75% the whole time. Seldom go to chuch and did buy two shotguns. Too old/tired to hunt, fish, and camp ... so the back yard is my "same place".

I now have an advantage over you. I always root for the winner, which means I change my 'favorite team' multiple times each game. Drives my kids and their spouses nuts (to put it politely) but then I never say, "my team lost" ... I wonder why they stopped coming over to watch the game?
