What exactly is it that the Dem party do to help the black population?

Don't blacks want the same things as whites, Hispanics, Asians, etc? Jobs, national security, solid economy, etc?

You often hear blacks talking about issues 'important' to the black community as a reason for voting Dem, but what exactly are those?
Would one be welfare? If so, wouldn't most people want to get off welfare, regardless of color?

Education levels are lower among blacks. They've learned over the years to do what their masters (Democrats) tell them.

The stats show a major voting shift to Democrat after President Johnson signed the Civil Rights Act. Apparently nothing in the last 52 years has changed their collective mind to switch parties.

They remain loyal Democrats.

Tradition-

FDR converted "the black vote" from republican to democrat.

My father has always voted democrat for the very same reason, despite opposing essentially everything that the democrat party stands for today.

Dems have a tradition of taking care and keeping people happy with welfare and programs that directly affect the black community.
I think all that is about to be thrown out the window with this election. The Dems and half the Reps are for amnesty for millions of illegal aliens who are in this country and once given a path to work legally they will of course be directly competing for the low skill jobs that are currently held by many blacks.

It is easy for a candidate to say that the black folk can move up to higher skilled better paying jobs but those are the realm of white middle class and breaking into that is usually a matter of education which is often lacking in the black community.

If the blacks and other minorities know what is good for them they will not vote for a pro amnesty candidate.

My mother in law, while not black, voted Dem all of her life. As did her parents and siblings. She didn't think about it - she just was a Democrat.

Until I did a blind test on her and laid out Republican beliefs vs Dem beliefs. When she found out, she was pis$ed and thought I rigged the whole thing.

Nope. She had absolutely no idea she aligned more with conservative values than liberal.

And that's probably not too far from the truth of why the black vote goes to Dems. Nobody really thinks about it ... they just vote that way because they've been told they're Democrats.

Black and other poor minorities vote for the Democrats because the Dems throw them crumbs from the big table. They realize that is better than not being allowed to be in the room if the Republicans were in charge.

I suggest these folks support Senator Sanders because he will make the changes needed to reduce poverty for all races while Clinton will only cut the few crumbs available. The Republicans will just keep the money for themselves and the rest of the wealthy while trying to force their God on everyone.

Money and welfare. Blacks think the Democrats will continue to give them more and more money and welfare.

What they don't know is Democrats couldn't care less about them. They are about to import 70 million illegals to eat their pie.
