So are you saying that because the USA is only responsible for 15% of emissions your country should do nothing to reduce them?.....That sounds rather childish, don't you think?

No it doesn't.
You just don't understand it.

I'm not going to dispute that you're probably hearing things, but I have my doubts about whether or not other people can hear those things.

Yeah, burning the oil YOUR country is selling. To anyone and everyone who will buy it.

And YOUR country is wasting billions of gallons of fresh water with your fracking. And doing untold environmental damage in the process.

And here you are screaming bloody murder about a CO2 theory.

Look in your Canadian mirror. That is where the villain is.

And to further expand on your hypocrisy...oil pays for all of your social, liberal programs in Canada. Oil brought you out of the 2nd/3rd world status.

Oil made you no longer the dull cousin of the US.

'Independent thought' only works if it's a subject that you at least partially understand. I've seen deniers on here dream up some absolutely ridiculous theories, and the big reason they seem like 'independent thought' is because no one else is stupid enough to believe them.

Part of thinking independently is using your critical judgment and realizing that you DON'T know as much about the subject as someone else. At the very least, you could accept that maybe NASA isn't full of people who understand less about the science than you do... which means that EVERYONE should accept that AGW isn't a ridiculous hoax that is easy to disprove.

Got news for you, efforts to combat Human caused global warming have been implemented by the federal government and imposed on states.

So why isn't the sea level dropping?

Are you suggesting that because there are people who don't believe the gods will be angry and punish everyone?

the effort is already underway by the warmists, money being spent regulations in place. What more do you want?

If that's not working for you and you can't demonstrate what progress has been made or what specifically yet has to be done and how much it will cost, then perhaps you have been misled?

Sea level rise is not the same over the globe. Tectonic activity where plates slide under other plates to raise or lower the ground are also a variable.

The sea level has been rising forever. Perfectly formed arrow heads and spear heads have been found off the NJ coast that indicate the sea level was significantly lower in prehistoric times. how do you explain ancient cities under the Mediteranian sea?

the sea level rises and falls as it always has.

You will do absolutely nothing, nothing to stop it.
there is no amount of money that can be thrown to pofiteers and grant sucking academic scientists that will reverse the flow of the sea.

A ridiculous Marco rant.

Here's a simple analogy that perhaps even you can grasp. You own a swimming pool. You fill it with water. If you continue to fill it with water, even a very small stream, it eventually will overrun.

We continue to add to the level of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. Consequentially, the earth's oceans and atmosphere continue to warm, creating the twin disasters of rising sea levels and ocean acidification.

Got it???
