Wouldn't there be massive protests, boycotts, riots, and the federal government involved? People would cry racism and say "if he were white this wouldn't have happened."

Is this really what you are upset about, that black people, did organize massive protests and boycotts, riots and demand a federal investigation about what happens to a white guy?
Seriously? You think that with all the things that black folks have to deal when it comes to the criminal justice system that black folks have the time to take care of white folks problems. Especially when white folks don't seem to give a damn about wrong prosecution except when it comes to whacked out militia members or a crazy anti-gay county clerk? Really?
Seems to me that there are more than enough white folks to fight real injustice without needing the help of black folks.
Maybe if white folks took criminal justice reform seriously, came to mass protests, boycotts, riots when black folks have to deal with police and prosecutorial misconduct we could pool our collective resources and do something about all the folks wrongfully convicted and imprisoned.
Until then, take care of your own and we'll take care of ours.
