Americans are proud of their great cities, but only ONE American city ranked within the world's Top 30 most liveable cities for 2015. Given that Trump has strong support on this board and has been a successful property developer, should (or could) he address this issue from his experience? Correct me if I'm wrong, but he has also said that he wishes to improve America's infrastructure.

What a strange set of metrics. Granted Hemmeter Center is a super nice mall.

I decided to look as well after Honolulu made the list. Honolulu from what I understand has very high housing prices and not much in the way of jobs that pay well.

The criteria they use are "stability, healthcare, culture & environment, education, infrastructure". No explanation as to what each category entails.

Usually these "livable cities" lists come in with under the radar places like Pittsburgh, PA, Manchester, NH and Boise, ID.

source: Global Liveability Ranking 2015 - The Economist Intelligence Unit
http://www.economist.com/blogs/graph.../daily-chart-5

"The most liveable places, notes the EIU, tend to be “mid-sized cities in wealthier countries with a relatively low population density”, which explains the low ranking of near-megacities like London and New York and goes some way to explaining Melbourne’s continued place in the sun

He can make them less livable, drive down the cost of real estate, then buy it up cheaply before taking action.

It's not up to Trump but it is up to the mayor and the state.

I saw a gal get kicked in the neck and jaw and knocked out with thousands of people cheering it on in Melbourne. Is that a city ya wanna live in?

Ha. The top cities seem to all have one thing in common - little to no black people.

Which means "fixing" our cities is certainly right up Trump's alley.
