Burning US and western flags, forcing innocent people to wear orange while beheading them on tv. Then telling everyone convert or die. Random nutcases are not examples of what we get today. Airliners being flown into buildings. Ya, that's totally normal.
If you can't see the difference between anti-Western violence and terrorism versus a garden variety nut job, than you have a perception problem.
This is so evil it is surreal. She said she killed the little girl because of her own husband's infidelity and that she wanted people to see what she did. The woman was seen shouting Allahu Akbar and talking about the end of the world. I cannot fathom what the victim's family is going through.
We are outraged and rightfully so, those of us who are actually bothered. Again, Obummer has already agreed to take them in. Unless some states manage to overturn the law, repeal it after he's gone, it IS going to happen. The shyte will hit the fan whether some realize or not. They will be dealing with it regardless. Women will have to learn self defense to prevent the New Year's nightmare in Cologne. Some areas where the refugees reside they will have to avoid, some establishments frequented by them too. Gun carrying will increase, legal in that state or not. Social services and the courts will be overwhelmed with the refugees. Jails too, I imagine. These people will try to get jobs at your workplace, at least the ones with a little bit of "education." If hired, they will require time given to pray five times a day, free childcare, to wear burkas head to toe, they'll freak if you want to serve alcohol and pork at workplace events. THEY WILL TRY TO SUE for their "religious workplace rights" as a way to force everyone to live by their rules. They create a workplace nightmare for everyone else who's not like them. I don't understand what religion has to do with anything here. This lady was crazy or psycho or any other type of weirdo the world has. Just because she happen to be Muslim doesn't mean that was the root of this incident. How many Muslim have you seen that chopped off babies head? None aside from ISIS and crazy people.
I don't understand why her religion is constantly referenced when her act is not linked to her religion. No she is not committing this kill to honor her god. What century are we in? Just because she said "allah Akbar" does not mean she is doing something to honor her god. Should could have invoked gods name at the time to seek forgiveness. Many serial kill committee heinous act and then seek forgiveness (or seek forgiveness while committing to sin) & rinse/repeat.
If this title didn't have Muslim in there people would
1) agree she is crazy
2) feel bad for the victim.

What about those people in Africa (forget which country) who will pay money for a child's head or genitals to bury next to their house to bring them good fortune? That has nothing to do with Islam but rather some local religious practice. There was a show on it on TV. The father cut off his toddler son's head and sold it for $2000 to some wealthy guy who buried it at the corner of his new home for luck. The mother was looking for her baby, and the neighbor told her she saw the father take the boy into the woods...the mother went looking and found his headless body.

The headline should read "Mentally Ill Woman Decapitates Child"
Remember Andrea Pia Yates? Stories about here were not headlined "Christian Woman Drowns Five Children."
Fifteen years ago when that happened, they most certainly highlighted her being a supposed Christian. That is probably why you remember her. This woman shouting Allahu Akbar while waving a toddler's head in public is why people are discussing that aspect of this horrific crime.
It's not Islam or Christianity that leads people to commit heinous crimes against children, its fundamentalism usually coupled with mental illness.
Actually, I have to take back my thumbs up for this -- rereading her words in the linked article, one might make the case that she was motivated by a politically driven fundamentalism rather than mental illness. I don't see mental illness in what she was saying.
The fact is, ISIS "fighters" as well as other Islamic groups HAVE slaughtered children to bring about their new Caliphate and initiate the end times. Anything goes when you think a punitive and angry God is on your side. It's difficult for anyone to say all of them are mentally ill. What they did makes perfect sense to them in terms of their ideology and theology:
