That statement can be made by anyone! My preference is "common sense" than God!

On this point we are in total agreement. He doesn't pander to the non-secular crowd and that's a great attribute.

Seriously? There was an old video clip floating around Facebook recently of Trump bragging about being an atheist. How does that relate to Sanders?

Rather then being "clueless" maybe just maybe they don't want to have a Socialist as president. Far more people have voted for Hillary than for Bernie.

Hillarys health in question again...more coughing. What is wrong? She needs to come clean about her condition.

I forgot I'm dealing with low-info republicans here. I'll try to explain everything for you more clearly ahead of time in my next post.

Trust me, you're not dealing with a low-info republican here. I'm a high-info Independent, the kind who would tune into the Democratic debates -- as well as the Republican debates -- to study both sides. Stop making assumptions. It just paints you with the brush of ignorance.

Actually......

......the auto industry collapsed the auto industry. I've been involved in the automobile industry since the early 80s, and the writing was already on the wall. GM, Ford, and Chrysler -- and the execs who ran those companies -- ignored the rise of the Japanese auto makers who were focused on building fuel-efficient, reliable automobiles. The American automakers were warned, and if you are old enough to remember the gas wars of the 70s, you were too. However, the Big Three were set in their ways, and failed to make the transition towards economical cars. Compare and contrast the 1973 Chrysler Newport to the 1973 Toyota Celica. THAT is why the Big Three spent the better part of 20 years trying to play catch up. NAFTA might have been a part of the problem, but it came decades after the ROOT cause of the problem -- corporate ignorance, doubled-down by the never ending grind of technology as it rendered yesterday's jobs to the trash heap.

If you need further proof that Detroit's problems were local, I've got two words for you: Kwame Kilpatrick.
