On day 1 of the Obama administration GOP leadership met and decided that they would obstruct
anything and everything - party first, screw the country.
Nevermind that we were going through the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression, a crisis brought
on through deregulation. We were losing 750,000 a MONTH.
The GOP response was to not only do nothing, but to obstruct anything to help the economy.
Add to that the number of hate groups (militia and otherwise) was exploding.
For 7 years, it's been the same thing and now that the Southern Strategy has reached its logical
conclusion in just being out in the open with Trump, some of you want to call our President the "divider."
Amazing.

ctually - here's a regulation that was removed... Glass-Stegall... removed during the Clinton presidency... that facilitated the economic crisis in 2008.
Actually, no Glass Steagall wasn't the reason.
Bear Stearns, AIG, Lehman Brothers and Washington Mutual would not have been impacted by it.

We are now gaining nearly 300K a month. The stock market has hit new heights. The President resumed the mission to get OBL and because of that, OBL and other top leaders are dead.
Really, he didn't "have" the House as commented above. He was stopping a crisis though. One that said poster doesn't seem to care about and worse, would vote people in who would push the same exact failed policies that allowed the crisis to happen to begin with...
Obama has done more to divide this country and foster a rebirth of racism than any president in our history.
Few people disagree with this today. What's your excuse?
That's an interesting comment considering that as the poster above already noted that the GOP decided at a meeting during President Obama's inauguration to obstruct everything.
While, partisan antics are common on all sides, this takes it to another level. Add to that the historic crisis happening in 2009, and it's quite reckless. We are also witnessed a surge in hate groups since 2009 and the hateful fans are flamed on AM radio and beyond.
Oh Man...some never tire of overlooking the obvious= media always gets them elected, many people do regret their voting for a candidate they thought would do as he said he would, yeah, yeah, I know, I know, this is supposed to just be happening to Obama, but--- you know that just ain't so...He's a politician, he's not supposed to be believed, nor should we believe any of them, anymore..
Jumping into an already crowded pool of malcontents who believe their own nonsense doesn't really add much to the conversation, is everything now a Bush-Obama blamefest? What ever happened to the old clued in Americans who knew that most of the pols are liars, ambitious to a fault, and never really giving a whit about the average citizen? We now have a kind of sports like view of all things politically, "my team" and your team, a nation of true believers, led by the media, fired up on radio nonsense and phony anger, geee, are we really that dumbed down?
