Trump might represent a lot of what America is not, but Chicago, to what ought to be its embarrassment, represents a lot of what Obama and his minions have in mind.

I don't know how I can make it anymore simple for you to understand.....if you don't get this post, then I don't know what to say....

Also, I am not Marxist, that has to be the silliest thing I have heard today.

LOL! Did you just say that with a straight face? Really?

Bless your heart...

Given the current dreadful condition of not only Chicago but the entire state of Illinois it's very obvious that unchecked liberalism and myopic civil service unions can turn any city or state into an economic basket case.

If you need the best example as to what happens when liberals take over a formerly thriving city and turn it into a disaster in too many ways to count, look no farther than the Pelosi clan and their 'contributions' to the city of Baltimore.

Obama and his fellow liberals simply don't believe in the First Amendment.

Likely because a large portion of them are so overly confident in their own beliefs that they view any disagreement with them as prima facie evidence of some great moral or intellectual failing. Everyone who disagrees with them is racist, sexist, greedy, selfish, stupid, ignorant, privileged, bought off by the Koch brothers or Wall Street, or hates the poor. There can be no other reason. Every policy discussion is an epic, Manichean battle between good and evil.

I do not use the term "liberal" to refer such people, however. Liberalism has traditionally referred to support for individual liberties and laissez-faire capitalism. They are not liberals in the traditional sense, and I have no desire to participate in the sullying of liberalism's good name. John Locke, Frederic Bastiat, Milton Friedman, Thomas Paine, Adam Smith and Thomas Jefferson were liberals. There is nothing liberal about progressives and social justice warriors.

The funny thing about politics is that both sides think the other is equally mistaken and incorrect.

And the confounding aspect I find, is that depending on where and how you were raised, the likelihood of your political alignment becomes predictable. Does that predictability take away any of the value in your belief? If you believe if, just because it was what was taught to you?

I've talked to liberals and conservatives who are absolutely convinced the other side is wrong and brain damaged. How is someone supposed to make up their minds, when if you listen to either side long enough, you begin to agree with them? Is true independent thought possible? All the diehard liberals or conservatives who read this, did you reach your beliefs on your own, or were you raised to believe the things you do, whether through a parent, teacher, or peers?

because their arguments are so based on emotion. Ironically, so are a lot of the Trump supporters... hostile and very emotionally unstable.

Liberals have gained ultimate power of nations through intimidation and violence leading to Communism and Naziism (which both caused the deaths of millions of innocent lives) by supposedly advocating for the common man when their true purpose is power and control...most of today's liberals in the USA fit in the same category....they hate freedom of the individual and seek to destroy it.

That is correct.

Liberals are not "liberal"; liberals are fascists.

Non Americans do not have a "right" to immigrate here.

Becoming an American citizen is not supposed to be easy.

Funny how the Left wails about how we shouldn't be the world's police force but it's just fine with us being the world's biggest orphanage.
