There is a WordPress blog called Edison Findings. There was a 9/21/2016 entry called "Was Thomas Edison anti-Semitic?" by Lewis Brett Smiler.

The opening paragraph reads:
Quote:
Was Thomas Edison anti-Semitic? There is no simple answer to this question. The inventor believed in many common Jewish stereotypes, and some of his remarks about Jews can be construed as prejudice. However, Edison also expressed support in their quest for freedom and employed them in trusted positions at his laboratory. He once referred to Jews as a “remarkable people,” and the evidence suggests that Edison’s feelings about them were complex.[1]
The closing paragraph reads:
Quote:
We cannot ignore the fact that Edison stereotyped Jews and made prejudiced comments, but they do not tell the whole story of his feelings or relationships with Jewish people. Many of his words and actions seemed to convey acceptance, support, and even admiration. The evidence demonstrates that Edison had mixed feelings towards Jews, and not everything he expressed suggested anti-Semitism.
I think similar things can be said about Trump in that he has mixed feelings towards [specifc race], and not everything Trump expresses suggests racism.

Heard it in 2016.

There was no presidential election last November.

You honestly think those states are voting for Cory Booker, Liz Warren, or Kamala Harris? Of course not.

If the Democratic candidate is electable Trump will lose, if the candidate is another Hillary he will re-up for 4 years

Biden is very old but he would win, I think so would Beto O'Rourke

As a bleeding heart liberal POC, I think Trump is sadly on path for reelection, whether we like it or not. Democrats have yet to produce a viable candidate in the ever-growing crowded field of Democrats. Incumbency is a b*tch!

It’s hard to say if he is racist against color of people’s skin - he keeps attempting to get darker / but he most certainly is very biased against certain people for different reasons.

Bill Clinton didn't inhale. And he didn't have sexual relations with that women.
And he didn't meet with the AG on the tarmac to discuss his "wife's" ongoing investigation. It was just to talk about grand kids.
You don’t have facts, only illusions.

I hope they provide some comfort.

Trump is either:

(1.) a racist

or

(2.) a political opportunist who deliberately divides the voters among racial and cultural lines for political advantage

Either way, he’s a scoundrel.

Hint: if you’re being openly praised by avowed white supremacists like David Duke and Richard Spencer, you’re most likely considered to be a racist by the racists themselves or as someone who is advancing their agenda.
