Exactly, anger drives voters.
That's why midterms often swing against the incumbent, the Democrat anger was fresh in 2018, just as the Republican anger was fresh in 2010 when Obama lost 63 house seats (and 6 senate seats).
Then by 2012 the Democrats were angry about losing all those seats.....so they came out to vote causing Obama to crush Romney.

trump at 45.7 RCP today, within striking distance of his all time high ( 46.0 ). will be interesting to see if he can pull it off this week or if he slumps back down into his 42.7-44.7 comfort zone.
