Umm...Obamacare is kind of a disaster in case you hadn't noticed......it's a huge waste of other people's money.
Republicans are very generous. They're just practical and know their limits, rather than letting others exploit their generosity to no end. What's wrong with enjoying money that you work for?
Yes, Republicans are very generous when they shift taxes onto the poor. They like to cut property taxes for homeowners, increase property taxes on rental property, increase sales taxes, and cut income taxes.
Which is great if you own your home and are rich but lousy if you own nothing and are poor.
Almost the whole world cringes at Republicans. The only people that like them are 50% of America. Maybe even less these days. They are an embarrassment to modern society... When 99.45095% of the world does not like Republicans it means that Republicans are not good.

I'm not even Republican, but popularity doesn't make ideas right or wrong. Pretty sure this was a troll post, but thought I'd comment anyway.
If you vote for politicians to take what belongs to one person by force and give to another, that's theft. It isn't you directly stealing, or even doing it with any conscious malicious intent, but that doesn't charge the nature of it.
Right, because the state should stay out of the bedroom unless a special group wants the state to bless their unnatural unions with marital legalese so that butt sex between two guys is legally indistinguishable from normal sex between a man and a woman (you know, the kind that makes babies), but other than that, it`s none of the state`s business...unless someone needs it to be in order to accomplish a political goal they were unable to accomplish through the normal democratic process and wants to force a new meaning onto and already established ages-old word per the state`s Orwellian edict.
That isn`t empathy.

Republicans are so classy. No wonder they won't have a president for at least 2 election cycles.
The world cringes at American conservatives, yet that demographic is the only reason that the USA hasn't been transformed into some socialist /communist hell hole yet. Other countries make fun, even though many of those conservatives they "cringe at" make up the military that protects them and their interests.
Seems like other countries could take notes from this demographic that they "cringe at", considering how many of them have socialism and how it fails so much.
Liberals are often called "bleeding hearts". So it is generally recognized that liberals have more empathy, although maybe not always smart about it. There is a saying, that if you're young and not a liberal then you have no heart. If you're old and not conservative, you have no brain. (I'm getting older, but I guess I'd rather be called dumb than heartless!)
It is not just about welfare. Conservatives tend to talk tough:
Yes to torture!
Yes to bombing the s__t out of them!
Yes to the death penalty!
Yes to concealed carry, so you can kill anyone who threatens you!
