Meh, this video feels like it is completely taken out of context and feels like it has been edited to make it much more incendiary.

Debate teams are assigned positions that they may or may not agree with in real life, it doesn't matter. You'll often have to defend the reductio ad absurdum, and the team who does it the best wins. That's probably what that one team was doing, yet you were never given the proper background.
